Featuring a hand lacquered barrel inlaid with colorful abalone shell pieces is a traditional Japanese technique known as raden, this pen is truly a work of art. It”s convenient and smooth-writing retractable nib extends with a push of the top knock button. This pen has replaceable medium nib which is made up of rhodium plated 18k gold. Pilot 60248 Vanishing Point fountain pen comes with a converter and one blue ink cartridge. A metal cartridge cap is also included, for covering the ink cartridge to protect it from the nib retraction mechanism. Pilot 60248 measures approx. 5.6 inches retracted length.
